bonjour Georges

Aroz Stories introduces you to Cristina, aka Bonjour Georges. The super nana we all dream of having as a friend: Mamma of 4 , multitasker, businesswoman, funny and the one who rocks the mix of prints like nobody else!

Jewelry is family. Objects that are transmitted. Every time I imagine giving my jewelry to my daughters, I imagine them wearing it and I wonder if they will still love it in 20, 30 or 40 years. So jewelry is clearly associated with family for me.

  • AROZ.  Can you introduce yourself in a few words?

Cristina. I am Cristina, I am 33 years old and I have 4 children. I live in Brussels, I am a Brussels citizen by adoption. I've been living here since I was 4 years old but in real life I'm half Finnish and half Italian. And I'm behind the account @Bonjourgeorges.

  • AROZ. What is the sentence you say to your children every time?

Cristina. Mmmh, good question! I say a lot "Don't do to others what you don't want them to do to you". That solves a lot of problems (laughs).

  • AROZ.  How did you start Instagram ?

Cristina. I started Instagram in 2016, more or less, when Colette was born. I started by sharing a little bit of the kids' looks, because I'm a big fan of that. And then, little by little, I started sharing more women's fashion. Today, it's a sweet mix of the two, I would say.

  •  AROZ. You are planning a dinner party at home : Who are you inviting? What are you cooking?

Cristina. For a dinner at my house, I would invite my 4 BFF's. I am very close to my friends and we try to meet at least once a week. But I call them 40 times a day (haha). For cooking, a little salmon tartar, because I'm obsessed with raw fish. Or, some good little tacos that my friend Marine taught us how to make a few years ago. Her tacos have become one of my favorite recipe!

  • AROZ. Your top 3 fav Instagram account ?

Cristina. Clearly, @celestebarber. My favorite accounts are the ones that make me laugh. And she for sure makes me laugh!  @frecklesnur, because I love her pictures. And finally, @somewhereiwouldliketolive : an account with great pictures, super inspiring!

  • AROZ. What were your inspirations for this capsule?

Cristina. I wanted to do something pretty simple, natural and organic. When I was younger, I wore a lot of silver and then more gold. Now I dare to mix the two colors. I was also inspired by my grandmother's necklaces. She had a lot of them, and she gave me some that inspired me for the capsule. All of this jewelry reminds me a lot of her. With these pieces, I wanted to honor my family!

  • AROZ. What does jewelry mean to you?

Cristina. Jewelry is family. Objects that are transmitted. Every time I imagine giving my jewelry to my daughters, I imagine them wearing it and I always wonder if they will still love them in 20, 30 or 40 years. So jewelry is clearly associated with family for me.

  • AROZ. What are the jewels that you never take off ?

Cristina. Mainly, my family jewelry. I have a ring from my grandmother, which she gave me a few years ago. There is also your Marselha ring that I love so much! I have a little collection of Adeline Affre jewelry too. And from now on, my beautiful bracelets of course (haha). Finally, the jewelry that never leaves me are my mom's and my grandmother's that I wear all the time. Then I vary with my two favorite brands: Aroz and Adeline Affre. I wear a little of both and change regularly.

  • AROZ. What is your favorite piece at Aroz Jewelry ?

Cristina. My favorite piece is the Lena bangle. I named it after my mom.  It is made of burnt and hammered silver. It is a piece that dresses up an outfit very well, and goes with everything. It's the perfect bracelet: present while remaining discreet. I also love the Marselha ring.

  • AROZ. Définis AROZ en 3 mots

Cristina. Delicate & subtle: always with finesse, always with subtlety. Then dynamic: I have been following Aroz for ages on social networks and you make me dream! The two sisters super hot, super pep's. You put me in too good a mood!
