Aroz gives you the best addresses in Rome for a city trip! Ready ?
9 am : Caffè latte & cannoli
Rome is the city of love. The Italian capital, with its picturesque streets, which immerse you into a romantic nostalgia.
What better way to start this city trip than with a good breakfast on a terrace? We reveal you our favorite address, where we couldn't wait to go to every morning (especially Paola for her raspberry croissant...)
Address : Caffè Sant'Eustachio. Piazza di S. Eustachio, 82, 00186 Roma RM, Italy.
10 am : tourist clichés
No need to recommend the Trevi Fountain, although we love to participate in the tourist clichés by throwing our lucky coin in the fountain. We obviously advise you to come (very) early, to be able to enjoy it without the crowd.
Trevi Fontain
Coliseum
Pantheon
Vatican
12 pm : fruits & vegetables
Campo De' Fiori is one of the most famous squares in Rome. Every day, a small market of fruits, vegetables and local products takes place there. Beyond the market, the square is very pretty. So we advise you to go there, even if you don't want to buy anything!
1 pm : A lot of pasta, Mamma Mia
After getting lost in the alleys of Rome, a lunch break is necessary. Obviously, good pasta. We absolutely advise you to try the Osteria da Mario. On a warm square, this small restaurant with red checkered napes charmed us.
We loved the pasta carbonara and the bucatini all'amatriciana. And of course, as an appetizer: an artichoke alla romana. A must!
Address: Osteria da Mario. Piazza delle Coppelle, 51, 00186 Roma RM, Italy.
Restaurant that we also tested and that we recommend
In general, the restaurants are quite affordable and delicious. Be careful with the tourist traps near monuments or famous places. The best advice we can give you: get lost in the streets of Rome and choose a restaurant where people speak Italian at the table :-)
2 pm : Shopping and souvenirs
We loved walking in the streets of Trastevere. It is a colorful, trendy and bohemian neighborhood. It is quite famous for its small craft stores as well as its vintage shops.
We have tested the Twice Vintage Shop. To be honest with you, the saleswoman was not very pleasant but the store is full of eye candy pieces! The prices are still quite high for second hand, but the pieces are carefully selected. You can find brands like Gucci, Fendi or Missoni at less than 100€.
4 pm : gelato al pistacchio
After the effort: the comfort! A little ice cream break is a must. We recommend Fior Di Luna, a famous ice cream shop in the Trastevere district. They are handmade and with fresh and seasonal fruits.
6 pm : Aperitivo
What better way to end the day than with an Aperol Spritz on a sunny terrace?
We recommend you the Terrazza Borromini. A rooftop bar on top of the Borromini Hotel, with a breathtaking view! The bar is right next to the Piazza Navona, so it offers an incredible view. There is also a 360 degree view of the whole city of Rome. The prices are quite high but the view is worth it.
CIAO SIGNORINA
Drop I : Venise : 18.05.2022
Drop II : Rome : 01.06.2022
Drop III : Sicile : 21.06.2022
Warm sunshine stinging on the skin, the simmering of tomato sauce, sticky fingers of gelato al limone, the sweet smell of freshly cut lemon, all lulled by the lilting voices of an Italian family dinner. These sweet childhood memories, combined with our love for Pasta della Nonna, and our passion for jewelry, gave birth to this collection of large organic links and multiple layered medallions: Ciao Signorina. A capsule inspired by the Bella Vita, which we like to summarize in one sentence: Mangia bene, ridi spesso, ama molto*.
