First inquiries :
The price

So we are in 2018 and embarking on this new adventure in the world of creation. Very quickly, the first questions confront us: price, quality, durability, materials. All these questions for which we have no answers yet.

Creation was a completely new field for us. After acquiring the basics during my jewelry training, I knew how much time it took to create a simple piece by hand. I looked at jewelry in a different way, knowing the hours required for their production.

We started sketching our first designs, putting our ideas on paper without knowing what would be feasible. It took several iterations with the workshop to translate our ideas and drawings into more technical projects, but the magic happened. The artisans immediately understood our universe, our desires, and they quickly wanted to embark on this adventure with us.

Seeing our designs come to life and watching the workshop work on each piece by hand was a moving experience. We could watch them work with the material, shape it, and bring it to life for hours.

Although we were proud of our accomplishment, we quickly realized that all of this had a cost. The cost of craftsmanship, of well-made work, and especially in Europe. Each piece would tell a story and reflect the work of the artisan.

But then, what would be the price of our jewelry? How could we offer a fair price while ensuring impeccable quality, using noble and recycled materials, and producing in small quantities? Would our customers understand this price difference? Did they share the same values? Would the quality of our jewelry live up to expectations?

So many questions that could have discouraged us. But there was only one way to find out: to take the plunge and test it. At first, we hesitated to set a "fair" price that seemed so high to us, so we started with small margins, thinking that the most important thing was to make our brand known, share our values, and inspire people to consume better, even when it comes to "accessories." Buy less, but better.

However, we quickly realized that these margins were not sufficient to sustain the business. Over the months and years, we understood all the costs associated with creation and running a business. Moreover, working with noble materials such as silver and gold entails constant price fluctuations. Therefore, we had to revise our prices every year.

Today, we know that the price of our jewelry reflects not only the quality of the materials used but also the time and craftsmanship required to create each piece.

On the side of our artisans, spending hours working on each piece, ensuring that every detail is perfectly executed. But also the time that Paola and I spend, drawing inspiration, sketching, imagining in order to create a collection. Nothing is left to chance. Every detail is meticulously crafted to create a unique and distinctive piece of jewelry.
